David joined Hattons in April 2007 and was made an Associate Solicitor in November 2011.
David’s role within the firm is based within civil litigation, including road traffic accident claims, professional negligence actions, building disputes and debt recovery matter, as well as many other varied queries that fall into the sphere of civil litigation. As well as these matters, David also works in the Wills department, with a particular interest in Power of Attorney work. David is a member of the Motor Accident Solicitors Society (MASS).
David has obtained his Civil Higher Rights of Audience, and since doing so, has founded Hattons in house advocacy service, not only representing clients for the firm, but also accepting instructions from the public on a direct basis, as acting as agent on behalf of other solicitors.
David is enthusiastic about sport and has organised sports teams within the firm for numerous events. He has also regularly undertakes sporting challenges for charity, including long distance cycles for Clatterbridge Cancer Research and Headway, and more recently, running and various other challenges on behalf of ore local charities such as The Steve Prescott Foundation and The Next Step for Chris. In 2019, David was appointed as a Deputy District Judge who will sit on the Northern Circuit.
