Clive has considerable experience working as a solicitor since 1988 specialising in Employment Law and Employment Litigation, while regularly appearing as an advocate before Employment Tribunals throughout the UK.

Prior to joining Hattons in May 2010, Clive spent 9 years as the Managing Director of a specialist Employment Law Practise based in Liverpool, operating on a national level throughout the UK.

His experience means he works with a client base covering specialist insurers, Plc's, SME's, OMB's and professional private clients such as Solicitors, Accountants, Doctors and Surveyors.

Clive is also an Accredited Mediator and undertakes work place investigations for clients, as well as being appointed to act as an Independent Investigator by two Public authorities.

In addition to his employment law expertise, Clive has built up a reputation as being a skilled Investigative Solicitor for which he has received accreditation in Advanced Professional Investigative Practice.

Clive was featured in a Sunday Times Article along with Tracey Parry that appeared on 8 March 2009 under the heading "Dynamic Duo hunt bosses on the fiddle" which reported on their activities in uncovering insurance scams, fraud and corruption at Board and Director level.
