Andrew joined Hattons Solicitors' commercial department in April 2009 and is a Trainee Legal Executive who specialises in litigation and dispute resolution with a particular emphasis on professional negligence, debt recovery and sports related disputes.

Andrew acts for a broad range of clients including limited companies, individuals and predominantly Rugby League clients within the sports sector. He has experience of dealing with matters on behalf of clients in the County and High Court, Court of Appeal and various Alternative Dispute Resolution forums.

He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Legal Executives.

Andrew assisted in the "ground breaking" case of Gravil v Carroll & Redruth RFC (2008) before the Court of Appeal that found the Defendant rugby club liable for its player's actions in assaulting the Claimant during the course of a game and causing personal injury.

As a former professional Rugby League player, Andrew has used his experience and knowledge of the sport in successfully acting for professional athletes in doping related matters, sports injury and contractual disputes.

Andrew is also an Agent licensed by the Rugby Football League.
