Hattons Solicitors were extremely proud to sponsor St Helens Rugby League club’s final league home game at Knowsley Road recently, when they played Castleford Tigers on 3rd Sept.

This historic game was action packed from start to finish, starting with their pre-match entertainment from the cheerleading group the Saintsations, an official Matchball presentation, guard of honour and a tear-jerking rendition from Rainford Brass Band.

Hattons Solicitors added to this day by producing a free commemorative poster giveaway and a competition where they gave one lucky Saints fan the chance to win the prize of picking the Man of the Match, including having their picture taken on pitch with their chosen player – see picture below with winner Mark Pendlebury and Saints player Tony Puletua.

The pre-match entertainment also included a warm up match of Saints Legends against a Saints Academy Select. Hattons Solicitors also sponsor the Steve Prescott Foundation who organised this fantastic line up of past players including Steve Prescott MBE, Anthony Stewart, Paul Loughlin, Paul Newlove, Anthony Sullivan, Tommy Martyn, Neil Holding, Vila Matautia, Mark Lee, Jonathon Neil, Chris Joynt, Ian Pickavance and Paul Sculthorpe.

The Saints v Castleford match was certainly action packed with the final score at 40-30 to Saints, with legend Keiron Cunningham scoring a try as he finishes off his rugby career in style as he’s due to retire at the end of the season.
