Legal Accounts Manager (Maternity Cover – 12 months)

Based in St Helens, Hattons Solicitors provides professional and cost effective Legal Advice and clear communication to our customers. With over 15 years of growth and expansion and no signs of slowing down, we are now looking to hire an enthusiastic part time Legal Accounts Manager to cover maternity leave.

Required to cover accounts tasks including:

  • Monthly financial and management reporting.
  • VAT Returns.
  • Some aspects of payroll and PAYE.
  • Month end/year end procedures.
  • Daily accounts tasks when needed.
  • Liaising with Bank/Accountants.
  • Compliance tasks.

Candidates will need:

  • Strong Legal experience is essential.
  • Exposure to management accounts production.
  • Good working knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Knowledge of Proclaim essential.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Salary and hours are negotiable depending on experience. This role is on a part time basis and is completely flexible.
