Louie’s Blog: Quiet Week

Giants-v-Saints-14May-52resized-150x150.jpgWell, it's been a quiet week for me this week as I didn't play on Friday against Hull FC. I thought the boys played well and dug in to secure the victory.

Josh Perry's Injury

One bad thing to come out of Friday's game was the injury to Josh Perry. Unfortunately he'll be out for the rest of the season as he needs to have surgery on his hamstring. I feel for Josh as he has had an unlucky first season at Saints, but he should be able to fully complete pre-season next year and be in good stead for the 2012 season.

The squad were given a few days off over the weekend and have had some tough training sessions since we've been back. We want to go into Sunday's game at Wakefield both rested and well prepared.

After a week without playing, I can't wait to pull on the 'red-vee' again and get stuck in! It's no fun not playing, as you get beasted by Matt Daniels, the conditioner, in the gym!!
