I thoroughly enjoyed my first game at Langtree Park! The game was a usual pre-season friendly designed to blow away the cobwebs, and it certainly did that! It was a shame that the first try was scored by a Widnes player, but I'll let him off as I've heard he was born and bred in St Helens! I was pleased that Sia scored our first try, as it was well deserved. The atmosphere was amazing, but I did hear that the fans got a bit wet! I'm sure any teething problems will be sorted out ASAP and we can get the 2012 season underway in style! This week sees the first round of the season being played. I'm still trying to decide whether it has come around quickly or not?! On one hand the Grand Final seems like yesterday, but on the other hand I feel like we have been preparing for months! Either way I can't wait for it all to start! Especially as the first game is at my old 'home', although not against my old team, as I never actually played for London Broncos! I couldn't think of a better place to kick off the season (apart from Langtree Park, of course!) and I'll be looking forward to seeing a few familiar faces as well. I just hope the snow holds off- I keep telling everyone it's warmer down south and i don't want any stick if it snows down there but the sun shines up here!!
A quick Football Manager update- I now also have the app on my iPhone so I'm running dual games and don't lose any valuable playing time when I'm away from the laptop..... I've found the best place to play undisturbed is on the toilet..... the downside being that my legs go numb after a while....
