Bruce Hatton
Solicitor LLB (Hons) & Senior Partner

Bruce has been helping the victims of accidents and health cases, such as asbestosis claims, for almost twenty years and has always practised in his home town of St Helens. He has managed the growth and development of the area’s leading claimant personal injury accidents firm, Hattons Solicitors, since it opened in 2001, and has helped clients to gain compensation after accidents that were not their fault.

An accomplished personal injury lawyer, Bruce is also in his tenth year of membership of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel, a select group of solicitors who have to prove that they have a depth of knowledge in handling PI matters.

Bruce has been a member of APIL and the American Association for Justice for many years and has appeared personally before the Coroners Court, the Magistrates Court and the County Court, as well as taking clients’ cases to the High Court, the Court of Appeal and even abroad with Litigation in the USA.

Bruce has been credited in the first edition of the Industrial Disease text book written by MacDonald and Georges, and is an expert in dealing with industrial injury claims. He is also a former membership secretary of the St Helens Law Society.

Bruce's practice often involves complex and fatal accident cases and industrial disease cases, especially dealing with asbestosis claims to help the sufferers get the compensation they deserve. He has also been involved in other aspects of civil litigation, such as commercial law and professional negligence matters.
